Went Io a birthday dinner last night. A place called Oscars, a small and very nice bistro type place. Situated in Newcastle-Under-Lyme. As the name says the theme of the restaurant is the movies. there are loads of signed pictures, film posters and film and music memorabilia on the walls. There is even a replica dalek in the corner!
The food was fabulous!! The offer on Friday and Saturday nights is a three course meal with tea or coffee for £11.95. Not a bad price when you consider the starters are around £3-£4 each and the mains are around £8.00 (well the vegetarians are the meat dish's are higher).
Nice atmosphere and fantastic food! If you are ever in the area check it out.
