Firstly whoever's reading this blog let me just wish everyone a Happy Easter.What a nice change it was to actually have a nice few days. Good Friday was a bit of a wash out and tomorrows forecast could be the same. But Yesterday and today have been wonderful! Not hot, but pleasant, bright and some lovely blue skies!
Today we decided to actually get out in the fresh air. The plan was to go walking somewhere near Stafford but we got lost! So we ended up at Cannock Chase Forrest. I've never been there before. Really nice place full of families with laughing children and loads of dog walkers. The scenery was a bit baron in places, maybe due to the fact it's still early in the season. Come July, I'm sure there will be a lot more green around Still the views were quite impressive, the weather was clear and the four of us enjoyed the walks. Some of the trees had fallen and they stretched out like tentacles trying to pull you into the forest...
I think we walked about 5 miles in total...although it didn't seem like it, so I could be wrong!
